Actually, you’re …
Actually, you’re wrong. Mentos are not alkaline, they contain no carbonates or anything that could create a neutralisation (acid/base) reaction of any significance.
As stated; a coin in soda water produces the same effect. Are you saying a coin is alkaline?
Dumbass, dumbass, dumbass.

z.zzzzz
that …
z.zzzzz
that disproves nothing
the mentos are still base
the soda is still acid
now bite me
July 3rd, 2009 at 3:52 am
No; I said that you …
No; I said that you had the incorrect and very retarded umption that mentos are base, and that the reaction is like vinegar/baking soda.
I searched online for about 5 seconds and found some researchers who have investigated it
- Fred Senese, Frostburg State University, MD
- Tonya Shea Coffey,Dept. of Physics, Appalachian State University, published American Journal of Physics, jun 08
- Hazel Muir, New Scientist jun 08
- John E. Baur, Jrn. Chemical Ed. vol 83
Now kindly shut the up.

ACTUALLY for …
ACTUALLY for brains read what i wrote and quote it properly
VINEGAR IS AN ACID
NOT A BASE!
DUH
That said keep your rude sarcastic attitude to yourself
AND which university researchers ? can you name them ? no because ur fulla
which empirical studies?
ur still fulla
actually you dont have enough grasp on what it was that i was originally saying in the first place for me to waste my time repeating it for your rude retarded
now go a knife please
thank you

Dumbass: expecting …
Dumbass: expecting me to personally provide data is ludicrous. Hundreds of people, including university researchers, have come to this conclusion through countless empirical studies. It is a physical reaction – the same one occurs when a coin is dropped in soda water.
With your ertion that “the mentos are probably base”/”like vinegar/baking soda”, you sound like an 11 year old demonstrating the sole scientific concept they can understand. Just shut your mouth because you are a ing joke.

WHAT A CROCK the …
WHAT A CROCK the mentos are probably base, like bakin soda, and the soda is acid
its like putting vinegar with baking soda- something you can CAREFULLY try at home
the coated ones should do the same once the coating is rotted off
July 3rd, 2009 at 3:52 am
On the show they …
On the show they said that noone has proven every thing that makes this reaction. This is false. There was a Swedish site that proved that many months before MB
